Ayurvedic
Yoga
Ayurvedic
Yoga combines Hatha yoga postures, with the fundamental principles
of Ayurveda. This class is excellent for individuals who would
like to learn how yoga can be utilised to create a practice
consistent with their individual characteristics based upon
ayurvedic principles. This practice brings to the practitioner
a greater sense of balance and harmony, with themselves and
the environment.
Ayurvedic
yoga uses postures as a therapeutic tools along with pranayama
technique (breathing excercises), meditation, mantra yoga
to bring balance in all levels of our being physical, mental
(psycho emotional) & energetic bodies. The postures &
breathing techniques is also modified according to seasonal
changes & individual needs!

Stress
Reduction Yoga
This
class is designed for the individual who would like to release
some of the stress of our busy life. Using meditation, pranayama,
gentle Hatha yoga poses and relaxation technique, it bring
us to a calm & serene place of just being present! It
is based upon fundamental principles of mindfulness.

Hatha
Yoga
This
course is open to all levels. The emphasis is placed upon
the foundation of classical Hatha yoga, using breathing exercises
and asana (posture) to achieve the physical & mental well
being for all!

Hatha
Yoga Anusara inspired
This
course combines the classical Hatha style with therapeutic
alignment principles of Anusara yoga; an approach that focuses
on the inner attitude of the posture. This technique incorporated
precise biomechanical alignment that permits a safe and accessible
experience for all students. It is a gentle yoga which includes
the use of props and modification, in order to stabilize the
core while increasing flexibility.

Yoga
for strength and flexibility
This
class is designed for those students who have a previous yoga
practice and are physically well. In this approach we focus
on more challenging postures, alignment, strength, flexibility
using proper yoga breathing. Yoga for strength and flexibility
is based on upon the Vinyasa flow of Ashtanga yoga.

Prenatal yoga
This
is a class to create a calm sanctuary where the mothers to
be can experience a peaceful, loving union with her baby.
Yoga’s primary gift is to provide a nurturing and peaceful
environment and decrease tension which is perfectly compatible
with the needs of a pregnant woman.
In
this course we use postures to open and relax the pelvic area,
strengthen muscle tone, release back tension through breathing
techniques, and a relaxed focused to deepen your experience
of the life growing within you.

Children’s
Yoga (ages 8-12):
The
children will learn Yoga postures and work on their strength,
flexibility and concentration. It is based upon an Ashtanga
yoga practice, a more physically demanding form of Yoga. This
Yoga helps promote strength, agility, flexibility, concentration,
and aerobic fitness.

Kids
yoga (5-8 years old)
During
this class kids will learn yoga poses through story telling
and games. The goal is to develop their motor skills, balance,
flexibility, strength, breathing and concentration. This course
is playful and entertaining for the children.
