Stress
Reduction Yoga/ Mindful Yoga:
This
is class is for those individuals who are looking for a method
of stress reduction and relaxation. These courses combine
Meditation, gentle Hatha yoga postures, and relaxation techniques.
This course is open to everyone. It is based upon the work
of Jonn Kabat-Zin, Ph.D.

Yoga
for Beginners:
These
classes are for those who have no or little previous experience
in Yoga. The fundamentals and foundations of Hatha Yoga are
taught. By the end of the session you will learn more than
twenty different Yoga postures. The class emphasizes breathing,
flexibility, and alignment. There are two levels for these
classes.

Intermediate
Yoga:
This
class is for those who have previous yoga experience or have
taken the Yoga for beginner’s class. In this class you
will learn more postures, and build on alignment, strength,
flexibility, breathing technique, concentration and alignment.
In this class we break down various aspects of the yoga postures
(asanas) while flowing from one posture to another.

Yoga
for All:
This
class is open to beginner’s and intermediate practitioners.
Emphasis is placed upon the flow and breath of all the Hatha
yoga postures.
Kid’s
Yoga (ages 5 -8): During this course the Kids will learn yoga
postures through story telling. The goal is to help the children
develop their motor skills, balance, flexibility, concentration,
and strength. This course is playful and entertaining for
the children.

Children’s
Yoga (ages 8-12):
The
children will learn Yoga postures and work on their strength,
flexibility and concentration. It is based upon an Ashtanga
yoga practice, a more physically demanding form of Yoga. This
Yoga helps promote strength, agility, flexibility, concentration,
and aerobic fitness.

Therapeutic
Yoga:
These
classes are addressed to individuals with specific injuries
or pathologies. The yoga routines are developed in consultation
with an Osteopath and Certified Athletic Therapist.
